Rock Band 3 tem a data de lançamento marcada para o dia 26 de outubro para PS3 e Xbox 360.

Como observado no vídeo, os controles voltam à sua versão mais simples, com os botões no braço e a palheta, sem os comandos sensíveis a toque introduzidos no Guitar Hero: World Tour. Os enfeites, como o vídeo abaixo demonstra, são customizáveis.

A data de lançamento também foi confirmada e acontece em 21 de setembro para PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii e Xbox 360.

De acordo com a Sony, o jogo poderá utilizar recursos de projeção 3D, mas ainda não tem data de lançamento definida.
